RZR0, you make a baby by using an egg on an adult or baby animal/villager.
Yeah, in the meantime I’ve figured that out =) I never did much Creative play before.
It’s so easy to get emerald early on just get a safari net or just drag a zombie villager in your house then hit him with a un-zombification needle and boom emeralds

Mate, just spawn one villager or animal and then spawn a new one on it to make a baby. It’s not a random thing.
Emeralds can easily be found in over half of desert temples. Just search.
What did you use
All you need to do to get the baby version of a mob you just need to right click on an adult mob and you should get the baby version… if the mob has a baby version.
A baby mob is made when you right-click the mob’s spawn egg to the same mob and it will create a baby. Not in a pure random chance.
