When Dogs and Cats Take Over a Video Game Trailer, It’s Cuteness Overload

The Tomb Raider video game with Lara Croft has been around for decades, and several new iterations have been created since.
Tomb Raider’s video game developer company, Square Enix, is planning on releasing their newest adventure for Lara Croft, “Shadow of the Tomb Raider.”
To help pique the interest of their online audience, the company decided to enlist some of the internet’s favorite things: puppies and cats. On the PlayStation YouTube channel, they released a reimagined game trailer called, “Shadow of the Cute Raider,” and it is definitely worth the watch.

In the video, a villainous Sphynx cat has captured an adorable little puppy and is holding it captive. Lara Croft, an Australian Shepherd, is then seen in a rain forest making her way to rescue the puppy.
She uses a ball of yarn to distract Patches, a cat guard, and then uses a laser pointer to defeat the second guard kitty. Finally, upon reaching the lair of her nemesis, canine Lara Croft uses the ultimate weapon to defeat her foe: a “Toomba,” (Lara Croft’s special Roomba).
