    as a fellow Indonesian I’m proud of you, Siska! Me and my family are orangutan lovers, but due to our limitation, donation is the only way we can help them with. When you said “You must not consider orangutan as animals, they’re more than animals”, tears come out from my eyes. It’s hard to find an Indonesian who understand it like you around us..
    Keep up the great work and the strong heart!

    Keep up your great work ! Your dedication will inspire other local people to learn & care about the orangutan’s survival !
    Since you speak the language, could you invite school teachers & children to participate in Orphaned Orangutan care programs, e.g.(1) The students can first visit the rescue centres & be assigned specific babies to observe & interact with;
    (2) Students or centre staff take turns to post videos of these babies’ activities once a week so that other students can view & follow up online at home. (3) At the end of the school year, they can write a report about their own observations of the assigned individual baby orangu’s growth. This report will be evaluated by a teacher for their science mark. An oral presentation with audio-visual evidence will be encouraged.

    In this way, the local children will grow up to understand & appreciate these gentle & beautiful creatures that are relatives of the human species, & that they are part of our natural biodiversity on this planet & have the right to live on !!!
