ok thankyou very much. i have a cat when he was younger like a kitten as he grew a little bit he starting exploring more. he had discovered the railing in my house and he was playing near it and fell from 10 -12 feet. i am truly concerned. i know that my friends dog had gotten pretty bad seizures from a fall like that. and when he sleeps he like he’ll be in a deep sleep and rhe all the sudden he tenses up and curls. is theyre anything i should be aware of? and he also meows excessively sometimes. i am wondering if the fall can impact his cognitive state.

Hi i hope you can help me. I have a 6 year old Shih Tzu who has had several ear infections. My vet has prescribed drops and Prednisone to stop the itchingand this has finally cleared up after a couple of years of recurring problems. But now she just seems to have an overabundance of black wax in one ear. My vet says it is not a problem having to clean this out with ear cleaner once or twice a week and that it is normal but this has only happened since the ear infections. Bella is constantly scratching her ear and rubbing her head and it is always red. She hates me cleaning them as well. What my vet is saying doesn’t seem right as it is only the one ear and this has not been normal for her in the past(pre ear infections). Thank you.

My akita has always been scratching constantly all his life. He has never had fleas or ticks. his fur is always patchy and as his scratches his fur falls out. Apart from that he appears very healthy but I am concerned about his constant patching shedding appearance. Should I give him fish oil?

Dr Jones i have lame dog with hip problems also diagnosed with tick virus Hepatozoon canis. She became ill overnight so i don’t think the hips are root problem however i would like your opinion if the tick virus in her blood can cause total lameness – thank you

Dr. Jones, I’ve added liquid L-lysine to dry kitten food and that has slid eye goop to corners of kittens’ eyes. Two kittens might have one-eyed vision. FERAL as can be. MOMcat has a babysitter at times. When MOMcat is not raiding dumpster for food, they’re in nearby woods. Meowiee, us kittens can see thanks to Dr. Jones.
