thats not correct procedure at all….you dont break sterility after surgical scrub so first you palpate the vein than you scrub -you dont scrub first and than contaminate with palpating unless you are wearing sterile gloves…
Nor do you scruff a perfectly docile cat.
What kind of tape os the translucent one?
I have never seen one of those here in Brazil…
Where is the place for we get that silet ?
Why are we putting so many negative comments here, but there are other videos of cats under anesthesia with NO monitoring, IV catheters, or heat support that have nothing but rave reviews? Each tech/dr is going to have their own technique for placing/taping catheters AND holding. We don’t know that the cat wasn’t held another way only to have scruffing be the way it responded the best…
